Seldom-seen original 1987 Monterey Concours poster featuring Carmel artist Jim Miller’s depictions of five Concours-calibre cars. Promotes the 31st annual event, August 23, 1981. SEE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS BELOW.
Noted illustrator and artist, Jim Miller, a Carmel resident after a long Southern California career, focused this poster on a 1930s Packard, and 1920s Cadillac, an MG T-Type, a Mercer speedster, and an Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato. Miller's signature printed in the right side of the image.
This poster, strikingly similar in style to his 1981 Pebble Beach Concours poster art, measures approximately 15" x 24" (39cm x 62cm).
Poster is in fantastic vintage condition—straight, and clean overall with no pinholes, tears, or major problems. This poster shows only minor signs of its age—a very small closed tear in the bottom edge of the poster and a few light, soft horizontal lines visible near the right lower corner of the poster likely from previous rolling. Poster has been stored flat for years.
