1982 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance poster promoting the 32nd annual event, August 22, 1982.
Carmel gallery owner and noted Southern California illustrator and artist, Jim Miller, created an elaborate and detailed montage of images for this poster. The focal point is the winner of the 1980 Concours Antique Class, a 1901 Panhard et Levassor 24 hp Clement Rothschild Touring Car owned by George Wingard. Smaller automobile images surrounding the Panhard include a Bugatti grille, the rear of a 1930s limousine, and a Series One Ferrari GTO. Miller's signature printed in the lower right of the image.
Poster is in good condition with some pressure creases in the Panhard, running vertically through the right tire and wheel, and one small crease to the left of the car. It looks like the poster has been framed and the background color has darkened where it was exposed to the sun. See photos for detail. Measures 18 1/2" x 24" (48 cm x 62 cm).
