Mickey Thompson Off-Road Championship Gran Prix (MTEG) San Francisco CA 1989

This is an original poster from the Mickey Thompson Off-Road Championship series held at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, CA. Mickey Thompson Entertainment Group (
MTEG ) brought Off-Road Racing and the excitement of the Mexican 1000 and Baja off road races to Candlestick park. This is a pristine 18" X 26" poster that was used for the original promotion. This VERY rare example was never used and kept in protected storage. It is a bright yellow background with red, black, gray and white graphics. Other than a small almost unnoticeable water stain (pictured), it is in excellent condition. Flat, no wrinkles. tears or damage. The date on the poster is October 28, However; I am not sure of the year. I believe it was in 1989. If you know the year or have any other information on this event, please let me know.
FYI. I will roll this carefully and send it in a tube to maintain the integrity.
Bring "A chunk of Baja" to the arena was Mickey's vision. The original event was held at the Los Angeles Coliseum and was ground breaking as far as bringing any type of auto racing to a smaller venue like a coliseum. Other races were held in San Diego, Oakland, Pasadena Rose Bowl etc.
