. He teamed up for this long distance endurance race with
C. Loigo
, together they finished in a brilliant 2
nd
place after over 4 hours of racing in the wet!
The rare Laverda 750 SFC production racer was introduced in 1971, Bertorello and Loigo’s SFC is equipped with the magnesium Ceriani 4 LS front brake, at the time it was a costly extra with its price of 50,000 Italian Lires. The 750 SFC was made in three series and remained in production until 1976. It is one of the great Italian Superbikes from the 1970’s, many were used in long distance racing events where it scored some terrific results.
It is rare to obtain a photo of a real SFC in action, this is a very nice photo that reflects a wonderful era of Laverda’s rich history in a wonderful way. This is your rare chance to own this photo, therefore it is printed in a nice large format of ca. 7.9" x 11.8" (ca.
