Auction is for a new LCD glass and zebra rubber connectors, as seen in attached pics, for Alpine 7618 car audio head units.  This LCD will be a
perfect fit
and an
exact replacement
for the
US version 7618
as well as the E version and the Japanese J model. Contrast ratio and viewing angle is excellent. See performance on the first picture that shows the actual new display in system.

Auction is for the liquid crystal display (LCD) only, which is the glass layer that produces all screen icons & characters on the 7618, including the dot matrix portion. You will use this display glass to replace or upgrade the one on your own 7618 front panel assembly.
IMPORTANT:
Some disassembly of your front panel 7618, including some desoldering, is required in order to replace the LCD
. We can provide instructions on how to replace, however, if you don't have the necessary tools or anticipate disassembly of your unit is not a task aligned with your interests or skills,
