Jack Juratovic, one of the founding members of the Automotive Fine Arts Society and accomplished automotive artist, created the art for the 1991 poster. 1991 featured marques included Rolls-Royce and Pierce-Arrow, and Juratovic included one of each in this scene that evokes the feeling of a romantic 1930s film. The Rolls-Royce is the 1931 Continental Phantom II prototype by Barker & Company. The Pierce-Arrow shows the in-fender headlights that became emblematic of the marque—and of course, the kneeling archer mascot, with arrow aimed in the direction of the Rolls-Royce flying lady.
Printed using high-quality reproduction techniques for the Robert Devlin book, Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance: The Art of the Poster, in 2003. Originals of this piece are almost impossible to come by, at any price.
Print is in gorgeous, near mint condition. Clean and crisp. Measures approximately 9" x 13" (23 x 33 cm). Original artwork for the piece, a mixed-media water acrylic and casein on gessoed Masonite board, measures 30" x 40".
