1957 Pebble Beach Road Race poster reproduction. Promoting the seventh and final year of the Pebble Beach Road Races, run November 9-10, 1957.
These road races were first run on a road circuit through the normally tranquil streets of Pebble Beach. The races, sponsored by the Sports Car Club of America, were run from 1950 through 1956. High speeds and a series of wrecks, forced the races to move to a new track at Laguna Seca in 1957. This poster advertises the first running on the Laguna Seca track, the design of which was based on the Pebble Beach course.
